Welcome to My Senior Spring Project
At BB&N, seniors spend their final trimester participating in the Senior Spring Project (SSP), an eight-week program that replaces traditional classes. Instead of following a standard schedule, seniors design their own routines based on four main pillars: Community Engagement, New Experiences, Wellness, and Intellectual Engagement. The extra hours that do not fall into a pillar will be the Remaining hours. Seniors dedicate at least 5 hours to each pillar each week and an additional twenty hours focused on outside activities. Altogether, the project adds up to between 40 and 50 hours each week. Below is my SSP Schedule and the book I chose to read!
My SSP Schedule!

My Chosen Book!
During SSP, reading a book approved by the school is required.

For my book, I chose to read The Let Them Theory by American Author, Mel Robbins. This book discusses focusing on yourself and not letting others' actions affect your life. You cannot change the people around you, only yourself. The "Let Them" Theory is a famous mindset from Mel Robbins. She also has a podcast that focuses on this idea. She has written influential books such as "The 5 Second Rule" and "Take Control of Your Life." All of her writings aim to help the authors discover and better themselves.

This book aligns with my SSP of growing and becoming an independent and better version of myself.
