Coaching Middle School Softball

To fulfill the Community Engagement pillar, my friend Emi and I decided to help coach the middle school softball team. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, we would coach from 2:30-3:30 PM. We spread our softball knowledge and offered advice. We hit balls to the players, played catch, and sometimes we were the umps for their scrimmages. There was a larger team, and they varied from their first time playing to their third or fourth year with the sport. Yet, everyone got better and had a lot of fun!
